QR codes for weddings and celebrations
The venue with directions on the invitation, the shared photo album and the collaborative playlist.
One small code on the invitation answers the eternal “how do I get there?”, another on each table collects everyone’s photos in one album, and the playlist code lets the guests DJ the party.
What a QR code does for weddings
-
Directions on the invite
One scan opens the venue pin with turn-by-turn from wherever each guest starts.
-
Everyone’s photos, one album
The table card opens the shared album; the couple wakes up to five hundred photos.
-
The guests as DJs
The collaborative playlist code fills the dance floor with everyone’s songs.
The QR types that fit
Every card opens the editor with that type already selected.
Common questions
Do codes clash with elegant invitations?
Design them in your palette: gold on cream, patterns of hearts, ornamental frames. The scan check confirms they still read.
Does the calendar code work on iPhone?
Yes: the event type encodes a standard calendar file that iOS and Android both open natively.
What if the album isn’t ready by the wedding?
Print anyway: a dynamic code can point to a welcome page first and switch to the album when it exists — the printed cards never change.
